PepsiCo Latin America is the world-famous food and beverage manufacturer and one of the largest employers in the country.

Mexico based PepsiCo is the largest operation in Latin America and second largest for the company’s worldwide network. The company pays great attention to environmental issues and charity. In Latin America, 83 percent of the food and beverage packaging materials that PepsiCo uses are recyclable.

PepsiCo, Inc in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has helped more than 765,000 people in rural areas of Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Honduras gain new or improved access to drinking water through the installation of water pumps and pipes.

High throughput and modern minimalistic design were the determining factors for the equipment. ST-01 speed gates with swing panels were chosen for this project.

When receiving a signal from an ACS, the glass panels open providing a comfortable passage. ST-01 speed gates have demonstrated high reliability in conditions of constant sunlight. Turnstiles are installed in the atrium with a glass roof.

Contactless access cards are used to enter the area.
