The model features a plastic housing with a two-colour LED indicator on the front panel. Thanks to slender housing and compact dimensions (145×45×23 mm) the reader can be installed on a door case.
Operation is allowed within - 40°С - +50°С temperature range. Compound-filling of the electronic board protects it from negative environmental impacts. Shielded cable is connected at the back panel of the housing.
Each identifier (proximity card or keyfob) has its own personal code that is set during the production and cannot be changed during operation. Identifiers do not have an internal power source that makes their operating life unlimited.
When turned on the reader radiates close low frequency electromagnetic field. Caught in this field the identifier activates and starts transmitting individual encoded signal received by the reader. Maximum distance possible for identifier sensing by the reader depends on the type of identifier.
Code reading is provided by presenting identifier to the reader. The identifier can be placed inside the pocket, wallet or any other magneto transparent container (cover). Code reading is confirmed by a short sound indication and an LED indication on the turnstile housing.
External control over light and sound indication is provided. The output data format with identifier code is set at the installation by the corresponding wire connection. This is the reason why PERCo proximity card readers can be simultaneously used with external controllers of different types.
The warranty period is 5 (five) years from the date of sale of the product.
