LBP85.2 electromechanical lock is designed to work as a part of access control systems (ACS) and is used to lock the profile doors.

Normally open locks are open in case of power loss, so they are used at premises with high demands for guaranteed opening of doors and easy evacuation – for fire exits, stairs, elevators, hallways, child care centers, educational and health facilities. It is advisable to use a normally open door locks at offices where both the entrance and the exit are performed with the use of a card, and a key is used for reserve opening. In case of fire, when the lines of communication and electrics fail, it will unlock automatically, the use of a key is not needed.

LBP85.2 lock has a unique construction, allowing control cable installation through the strike plate in the door frame and not through the whole door leaf. This makes installation easier and provides aesthetically pleasing exterior of the door without using adaptors.

There are two types of strike plates made by PERCo which can be used for profile doors of different manufacturers ("Petralyum", "Agrisovgaz", "ALUTECH", "NORDPROF" etc); the strike plate type is chosen by a customer at the time of order.

The strike plate BP1 is used for installation in the following profile doors: door leafs T34, T53, T81, T85 and the door frame T72-14 (manufactured by "Petralyum" LLC) or equivalent dimensionally.

The strike plate BP2 is used for installation in the following profile doors: door leafs AGS68_6863, AGS50_5213 and door frames AGS68_6864, AGS50_5215 (manufactured by "Agrisovgaz" LLC) or equivalent dimensionally.

A universal lock construction enables its installation on both right-handed and left-handed doors.
