Exhibition news: DDS presents PERCo turnstiles at LIW 2009

Directional Data System Ltd, our sales partner in the UK since 2005, has returned from Leisure Industry Week 2009 www.liw.co.uk in Birmingham.

Celebrating its 21st birthday this year, the UK’s largest out-of-home leisure exhibition took place at the Birmingham NEC and included: Health & Fitness, The Sport Show, Attractions Expo, Pool & Spa, Eat & Drink, Leisure Facilities and The Licensed Business Show. Despite the economic downturn, Leisure Industry Week (LIW) 2009 celebrated a 12% rise in visitors against last, attracting 13,102 individuals in total. The event offered a valuable mix of exhibition space and education seminars, making it the perfect destination for leisure professionals.

According to DDS, the general sense was that exhibited PERCo products looked great and were adequately priced for these markets. Besides, there was a fair amount of interest in the budget T-5 turnstile and they were looking forward to seeing it.

All in all, DDS had a successful exhibition and took over 100 enquiries for their ticketing systems and PERCo turnstiles, now they are busy following up those leads.
