Exhibition news: SECURITY ESSEN 2008

One of the major international security events, Security 2008 held at the Messe Essen fair ground in Germany came to a close just the other week. Always a premier for numerous innovations, this year the biennial global fair for security and fire protection attracted visitors from 115 nations. Over 1,100 international exhibitors presented their products and services at the exhibition. A record number of visitors, 40,850 guests came to Messe Essen on October 7–10 in order obtain information about new solutions in surveillance technology, admission control and fire protection, to maintain business contacts and to place orders.

PERCo turnstiles were presented by our German partner, CAME GmbH. Mr. Ralf Wiedenmann, Marketing Director of CAME GmbH says: «We are very pleased about the fair´s outcome. Traditionally we have brought automatic road barriers, swing gates, bollards and suchlike products to the access control market. Cooperation with PERCo enables us to widen our product range and offer our customers new security solutions. I believe the fair was another step to a long and successful collaboration between our two companies».
