News from Malta: PERCo turnstiles installed at the Ggantija Temples

An RTD-15 full height rotor turnstile, TTR tripod turnstiles and a WMD-04 swing gate have been installed at the Ggantija Temples in Xaghra, Gozo, one of the most important archaeological sites in Malta. The ?gantija temples are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and, dating back to approximately 3600 BC, they are recognized by The Guiness Book as the oldest man-made structures in the world.

The turnstiles are integrated into the access control and ticketing system of the open-air museum. The installation of both the system and turnstiles was carried out by Miqna Systems Ltd, a sales partner of our UK distributor Directional Data Systems Ltd.

Besides the Ggantija Temples, Miqna Systems installed PERCo tripod turnstiles as part of their access control system at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta, Malta's capital city.
