TBC-01.9A Box tripod turnstile is a compact and elegant solution to equip checkpoints. When installing several turnstiles in a row, you do not need extra fencing. Two built-in multi-format readers provide communication with the controller via the Wiegand interface. The built-in card capture reader can be used in an access control system that supports the status of temporary passes.

The automatic "anti-panic" function applied for TBC-01.9A is an up-to-date solution, which excludes direct physical involvement. Unlike the mechanical “anti-panic” barrier arms, automatic ones exclude their unsanctioned folding by unauthorized people.

After the Fire Alarm signal is removed or the power supply is restored, the barrier arm is set to the initial (horizontal) position manually.

Built-in readers and a card capture reader will save you time and expenses for purchase and installation of additional equipment. When operated in an ACS, TBC-01.9A is able to capture temporary passes from visitors when they leave the facility.

The turnstile top cover is equipped with LED indicators of passage direction and turnstile operation mode: the green arrow indicates the direction of the authorized passage, the turnstile is open in the set direction; the “stop” signal indicates that the passage is denied, the turnstile is closed.

On the side cover on the exit side, there is a receiving slot with LED backlight of the card capture reader. The card capture reader container is locked and has easy access for maintenance.

The TBC-01.9A design allows installing the card capture reader on any turnstile side.

The turnstile can be operated:

  • as a stand-alone unit from RC-panel (included in the standard delivery set) or WRC
  • from an access control system (ACS) via a controller

The turnstile operated from an ACS supports two control modes: pulse and potential. This control mode choice option ensures proper operation of the turnstile under access control systems of different manufacturers, including capability to use lock controllers with outputs supporting potential control mode. Galvanic decoupling of the turnstile outputs from an ACS controller is provided.

The use of turnstiles as part of the ACS allows enterprises correctly register personnel attendance time. This is especially significant for Time and Attendance systems.

The turnstile is a normally-closed device and remains closed until a passage permission signal is received, or the turnstile is opened with a mechanical unlock key. The turnstile provides the possibility of automatic unlocking when the Fire Alarm signal is received.

Low power consumption of the turnstile allows the use of a human-safe supply voltage (not more than 14V).

Turnstiles can also be completed with railings, produced in the same design.
