Contactless solutions in ACS

In a complex epidemiological situation, it is especially important to think about the safety of the ACS users. The contactless solutions provide safety and allow: a contactless identification and contactless blocking device.

Proximity cards

EMM/HID and Mifare format cards used as IDs, including those with copy protection, remain one of the most popular solutions due to the affordable cost. However, this method is not safe in terms of virus transmission when cards are used on mass sites and could be hand over from user to user. But in the case with the company offices, where each employee has his own card, this method of identification does not threaten with infection.

Mobile access

Mobile access

It is enough to send the generated ID to the system, which will be applied when the smartphone is presented to the reader when using identification by smartphone to grant access rights to an object. This method of identification allows to issue and cancel virtual passes remotely.

It is necessary to install and run the free app "PERCo Access" on your Android phone that supports NFC.

For Apple smartphones with NFC, you don't need to install the app – a Token bound to one of the emulated bank cards on the smartphone is sent to the system as an identifier. When using both Android and Apple smartphones, a specially generated ID is sent to the system, it doesn't contain information about the smartphone or bank card, which ensures the protection of user data.

Access by barcode

Identification by barcode allows you to organize access to crowded places and is suitable for paid access systems, among other things.

Visitors of sports, entertainment, and cultural venues purchase tickets with a barcode that can be viewed on a smartphone and presented to a reader upon entry.

Access by barcode can also be used in business centers where the barcode acts as a visitor identifier. In this case, the barcode is sent to the visitor via messenger or e-mail and used for passing through.

Face recognition

Face recognition

PERCo access control systems can also use facial recognition function for identification. To do this, the turnstile stand is supplemented with a face recognition terminal mounted on a special bracket. The access control system server and the terminal communicate online.

The system allows you to quickly add employee and visitor data in order to use facial recognition as the main or additional identification method. Face recognition is performed automatically.

In order to enhance access control, it is possible to oblige an employee to pass by using multiple identification methods at once, such as face recognition with smartphone confirmation. All events with frames of facial recognition are saved in the access control system and can be viewed at any time.

Speed gates and motorized swing gates are the optimal solutions for organizing contactless passageways.

Speed gates

Speed gates are the turnstiles with swing or sliding panels. Glass panels open independently during the passage through the turnstile, thus there is no need to touch the device. Speed gates provide the maximum throughput rate, which plays an important role in crowded places.

Integrated solutions are popular at airports: for example, turnstiles with a barcode scanner and a facial recognition terminal.

At the customer's request, speed gates can be supplemented with special posts and brackets for attaching additional equipment: for example, a post for a face recognition terminal.

At airports and train stations, the speed gates can be equipped with a barcode scanner and a facial recognition module. Thus, the decision to access the boarding area is made without the participation of airport employees.

At large industrial enterprises, speed gates are supplemented with a breathalyzer – verification, and access to the site is carried out in contactless way.

Motorized swing gates

Motorized swing gates open in a contactless manner after receiving a permit signal from the system and allow you to organize the passage of low-mobility people, as well as an additional evacuation exit. Motorized swing gates are often used in passport control areas at airports and train stations.
